last month was a little rough for me. i think i was trying to juggle too many things and it got the best of my spirit and my health. i think we forget how important our health is until we feel terrible and rundown and i know that my body deserves better that that.
i think the key for me right now is to focus, which hopefully will allow me to create in ways that perhaps i haven't. it will allow me to sit down and find peace of mind. it will allow me to simplify and focus on the essential things, the things that matter the most.
there is something about having a daily practice that is calm & clear; much like any other habit this should bring focus, mindfulness, and a higher purpose. with that being said here's to reading my high stack of books, practicing yoga again, hiking more, drinking plenty of water, & donating more time to art projects.
this blog is really what got my wheels turning.
